1. Professional Development Workshop: Join representatives from the Global Economy Journal and PLOS One for a workshop designed to help authors refine their articles for submission.

2. PhD Student Workshop: A workshop tailored for Ph.D. students, providing valuable insights and guidance on research methodologies and publication strategies.

3. ITFA Fellows Induction Ceremony: Join us in celebrating the induction of new ITFA Fellows in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field.

4. Conference Dinner: All conference attendees are invited to attend the conference dinner.

The Global Economy Journal will consider the best papers presented at the conference for submission. Authors will have the opportunity to submit their work to this JCR-indexed journal.

Students (in person) – $150

Fees Include: One-year ITFA Membership, subscription to the Global Economy Journal, access to Mondo Data Science Platform, networking events, reception, lunches, and a gala dinner. There will be a special workshop for graduate students where they can receive feedback on their papers.

The local organizing team is based in the U.S. and is composed of Marta Bengoa (the City University of New York, University of Johannesburg, and CIRANO), Matthew Kidder (Newberry College), Maia Linask (University of Richmond), Thierry Warin (HEC Montreal and CIRANO), Sarah Bryant (Newberry College), Scheherazade Rehman (George Washington University)

We invite submissions that explore a wide range of research areas on the theme “Leading Issues in International Economics and Business” and that address the complex and evolving landscape of international trade and finance. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

1. Trade Policy and Agreements: Analysis of trade agreements, tariffs, and policies shaping global commerce.

2. Exchange Rates and Financial Markets: Investigations into currency exchange, forex markets, and financial innovations.

3. Trade, Growth, and Sustainability: Research on the interconnectedness of international trade, economic growth, and sustainable development.

4. Global Financial Landscape: Assessments of the role and impact of international financial institutions and emerging fintech developments.

5. Digital Economy and Cross-Border Transactions: Exploration of digital trade, e-commerce, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technologies.
